Darryl Keith Richardson, a Philadelphian native began his musical training early in his school career. His eighth-grade year allowed him to play with musicians such as; Wynton Marsalis, an internationally acclaimed musician, composer, bandleader, educator, and a leading advocate of American culture. As a student in Pickett Middle School, he played brass instruments. He also learned how to play the trumpet, cornet, and trombone under the direction of Vera Eubanks, mother of Kevin Eubanks, the musician most notable for composing the Tonight Show with Jay Leno's closing theme music. He continued to sing in the choir in church and Dobbins High School under notable Gospel Choir director, Cassandra Jones.

Darryl jump-started his music business career providing an unparalleled sound for local parties in the early 1990s when he graduated high school. Since that time, audio engineering has always been a part of his personal and professional pursuits.
